Below are some frequently asked questions from teams attempting the challenges!

Q: Are there labels for the maneuvers provided by PTN? 

A: Currently we do not have labels for that data to test/ train models. The labeled data we have only includes the sample maneuvers that can be found in the Dropbox (ManeuverIDdata/SampleManeuversData/SampleData). 

Q: How accurate are the "good" and "bad" data labels in the Dropbox? 

A: This data was labeled as "good"/"bad" by people looking through the files and sorting them by eye- it is very possible that there are some erraneous labels. 

Q: Are there multiple maneuvers attempted in each data file?

A: Yes! The ObservedTrajectoryData (12000000000 and 13000000000) comes from pilots that are practicing on the simulator, so the files consist of them flying whichever maneuvers they felt like flying in one run. We would like to be able to identify each of the maneuvers they attempted. 

Q: Are the raw, unnormalized features of the data available (i.e. raw altitude)?

A: Unfortunately, no. Normalizing features/ removing altitude was part of our minimization procedure to be able to release the data.
